Janice + Ralph’s wedding was so incredibly special to me, more special than probably most of the weddings I have photographed in my 10+ year photography career. The reason is because I first met Janice when I photographed her daughter’s wedding, and then had the privilege of photographing her son’s wedding as well. So, when I got a call from Janice asking me to photograph her wedding day I was so deeply touched. I truly have no words to express it.
This family is so loving, so kind and they know how to have a great time!
Janice + Ralph decided to have their intimate wedding at their private estate in Kilbride. A gorgeous white tent was set up in their meticulously manicured back yard with gardens, fountains and absolutely stunning landscaping. Ralph actually won the Ontario’s garden award for the most beautiful garden and plants over 5000 fresh flowers every year. Spectacular doesn’t even begin to give this oasis justice. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I felt like I was walking the grand gardens that you would only find in Europe.
While everything was set up absolutely perfectly, the weather was the one thing that couldn’t be controlled. And it rained. A lot. Luckily, most of the rain came down during the ceremony that took place inside the tent and trickled away relatively quickly. Luckily, the sun did manage to come out and the evening sunset serenaded the entire estate, dried the grounds and guests were able to enjoy its beauty.
This was an absolutely beautiful wedding, with a beautiful couple. I wish Janice + Ralph nothing but the very best in their lives together and I deeply hope I will be a part of future milestones in their family.

You were the one and only choice because of the superb photos from my son and daughter’s weddings. That you just happened to be available on our wedding date, was AWESOME. My kids were thrilled that you were there as well because you are family now, you know.
The photos are all so well done that it is a challenge choosing which ones to put in an album. We can never express how grateful we are that you captured so much love and happiness on our day.
